Dehradun, 12 Apr: Three probationers of the Indian Foreign Service, Disha Oberoi, Navodit Verma and Sanjna Arya, made a courtesy call on Governor Baby Rani Maurya on Friday at the Rajbhawan, here. All the three officers belong to Uttarakhand State.
Congratulating the officers for their selection in the Indian Foreign Service, Governor Maurya said that they played a vital role in international relations. She added that officers of Foreign Service were the flag bearers of India’s global image.
She said that Uttarakhand should coordinate with Indian embassies on using the international platform to promote tourism, yoga, ayurveda, herbal medicines and spirituality. She expressed the hope that Uttarakhand would benefit from their presence in the service.
