DEHRADUN, 24 Mar: IMA and Lions Club organised a blood donation camp at Doon Sarla Academy in Pathri Bagh, here, on Sunday. People from far and wide donated blood.
Managing Director, Doon Sarla Academy, Suresh Joshi inaugurated the camp by donating his blood first. He told those present that blood donation could save many lives. “We are all educated people and live in a society that doesn’t think only for itself but also for others. So, we should donate blood,” he asserted. He encouraged the youth to donate blood in large number. He pointed out that any individual between 18 and 65 years of age could donate blood.
Member, Lions Club, CJS Soi was among those who donated blood. To make the people aware of the uses of this donation, students of the school also organised a street play.
