RUDRAPUR, 22 Sept: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi heard the problems of women belonging to Self Help Groups in the office of the Rural Development Department, Rudrapur. He claimed on the occasion that, following the government’s policies and efforts, the income of women belonging to self-help groups would be doubled in five years.
He directed that a shop, each, be opened in every block along with outlets at tourist places to sell the goods produced by self-help groups.
Joshi gave strict instructions to officers to resolve the women’s problems related to bank loans. Raw material should be easily made available to them and GST not imposed on the sale of finished goods, he asserted.
