DEHRADUN, 26 Jul: Anirudh Thapa, member of the senior Indian football team, visited his alma mater, St Joseph’s Academy. Anirudh is an important member of the Indian football team and the Chennaiyin FC. He was awarded the AIFF emerging player of the year, 2017-2018 by the All India Football Federation. He is home on a break after playing the Hero Intercontinental Cup. At a function organised by the SJA Alumni Association, Anirudh interacted with the present students. He shared his experiences and provided crucial insights into the game to the members of the school football team. On the occasion, the SJA Alumni Association presented a jersey of the Indian football team signed by all its members to the principal, Bro Jeyaseelan. VS Rautela and members of the SJA Alumni Association Manoj Devgan, Akhilesh Rawat, Prakshep Bisht and Tanmay Negi wer e present at the occasion.
