10th ICFAI Convocation

DEHRADUN, 12 Sep: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) participated as the Chief Guest in the 10th Convocation of ICFAI University, here, today. He awarded degrees to 586 passing students and medals to 28 best-performing students.
In his address, the Governor congratulated the students and wished them a bright future. He said that India’s youth power is its biggest strength. The youth would have to understand their responsibilities and make an important contribution to building the best India. In the era of Amrit Kaal, the successes of the youth would increase the pride of the country and the state.
Governor Singh called upon the students to always help the deprived in society. They needed to understand their responsibilities. He said that all should try to bring positive change in society through innovation and research in every field.
The Chancellor of ICFAI University, Dr Uday B Desai, congratulated all the degree holders. He said that climate change is a serious challenge for all, which needs to be considered seriously by all to deal with its threats.
Vice Chancellor Dr Ramkaran Singh talked about the achievements of the university.
University Registrar Dr RC Ramola thanked the people present at the convocation ceremony.
Heads of departments, teachers and students of various departments of the university were present on this occasion.
