Dehradun, 22 Dec: Indrajeet Singh Oberoi, Chairman of the Guru Ramdas Institute of Management and Technology (GRD IMT) in Dehradun, was honoured with the Leadership Excellence Award 2025 for excellence in higher education by Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh.
This award was presented by the Governor on Sunday at a hotel in Dehradun. The award was given in recognition of Oberoi’s ‘visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to academic excellence, and continuous contribution to strengthening higher education’.
Dolly Oberoi, Managing Director of GRD IMT, expressed her happiness on receiving this honour, stating that it is a matter of great pride for their institution. She added that the GRD IMT Group of Institutions is continuously striving towards global excellence. The institution is implementing significant and impactful educational reforms in the field of higher education through AI-based teaching systems, industry-driven projects, skill-based education, and innovation-focused academic models.
In the coming times, GRD IMT will introduce several new, transformative, and visionary initiatives in the field of education, which will make students competitive not only at the national but also at the global level. Working hand-in-hand with the Uttarakhand government, GRD IMT is continuously contributing towards realising the vision of a developed India through education.
