DEHRADUN, 1 Sep: The Aryan School organised an Inter House Quiz Competition within the school premises, here, today. The qcompetition was held separately for the junior and senior schools. While classes sixth to eighth participated from the junior school, senior school classes included from ninth to twelve. In the junior section, Rig House bagged the first prize, while in the senior section Sama House won the quiz. Yajur House was the runner up in both junior and senior sections. Four students participated from each house. Kanchan Bhatnagar was the Junior Quiz Master and Alok Rawat was the Senior Quiz Master. The students were asked questions from different fields such as general awareness, English, science and social studies. Every round was a mixed bag from these subjects. There were audio and visual rounds for students to enjoy and answer. The various rounds in sections were innings, knock out, scratch your head, check your vision, melody and rapid fire. The audience also got a chance to participate in the question answer round. Principal B Dasgupta said, “The quiz was very informative and knowledge enriching. The students displayed high spirits and enjoyed the quiz to the fullest. The competitions enhance student enthusiasm.”
