Kasiga School holds Graduation Ceremony for outgoing batch

DEHRADUN, 10 Feb: Kasiga School held its graduation ceremony for the outgoing batch of Grade-XII students.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr Peter Slowe, the founder of Projects Abroad. Also present were Ramesh Batta, Chairman, Poonam Batta, Siddharth Batta, Director, Finance and Administration, and Chandni Batta, Director, Welfare. They were accompanied by the Head of School, Sonali Sinha, and the Deputy Head, Chandrashekhar Yadav.
The function began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries. This was followed by the welcome speech by Sonali Sinha. She spoke about the beautiful memories that each student of Kasiga would cherish for life. She described how the students had evolved into confident young men and women.
The ambience became solemn and nostalgia gripped the passing out batch and everyone present when Neerav Sharma Nepali, the Head Boy, and Madiha Islam, the Head Girl, delivered their speeches, striking a chord with every individual in school.
Passing the light of Knowledge took place next. All the graduating students in their Baccalaureate dress received the light of knowledge from the Head of School, while the school choir sang “This little guiding light”. This was followed by the distribution of mementos. The dignitaries presented every graduating student with a memento as a token of love and appreciation.
The ceremony came to an end with the speeches of Chief Guest Dr Slowe and Chairman Ramesh Batta.
