Expressing satisfaction over the culmination of hard work by the workers, State President Mahendra Bhatt expressed confidence of record public opinion in favour of Modi. Following the policy of first casting vote and then having breakfast, Bhatt exercised his right at booth number 175 of his village Brahmin Thala in district Chamoli. In a statement issued to the media regarding voting, he said that feedback from workers from all 11,729 booths of the state has been received by the party. Apart from the booth teams, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, all ministers, present and outgoing MPs, all MLAs, party officials and senior workers have worked hard to support and encourage the voters in these polling stations. He claimed that in response to the greetings conveyed by PM Narendra Modi for the voters of the state, the public has demonstrated their determination to make him PM for the third time. It was clearly visible from their enthusiasm that now they want to move forward on the decisive journey of developing the country under the leadership of Modi. He claimed that the party is confident that on 4 June, the Modi family will cross 400, which will include all five seats in the state.
He has termed the opposition’s allegations regarding the voting process as completely baseless and frustration over the seemingly certain defeat. Bhatt said that the public has now fully recognised the continuous efforts made over the years to blame the defeat on EVMs, police administration and Election Commission. Bhatt also thanked the party workers for all the hard work they had put in the elections.
