Dehradun, 22 Jun: Uttarakhand BJP has expressed happiness over the implementation of the anti-paper leak law in the country and has thanked the Union Government. State President Mahendra Bhatt today accused the Congress of indulging in politics over the examination process stating that these are the people who till yesterday used to call the anti-cheating law implemented in Uttarakhand as exploitation. He added that the people of the country have full faith in their elected Modi government and they will not be misled by the opposition.

Bhatt asserted that the NDA government at the Centre under the leadership of PM Modi has started implementing its Sankalp Patra. The implementation of strict law against cheating across the country is a matter of pride for the people of Uttarakhand because under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami, a similar law has already been implemented in the recruitment examinations of the state. He has expressed gratitude to PM Narendra Modi on behalf of the party workers and the general public for this historic and bold step. He also expressed hope that with the implementation of this strict law, the copy mafia will be completely destroyed from all over the country like Uttarakhand.

Bhatt strongly criticised the state Congress leaders over this issue and claimed that their governments gave protection to the copy mafia in the state and allowed them to flourish. Most cases of paper leak, copying or irregularities in the examination that have come to light are from the Congress ruled states but the action taken on them has been done in the BJP government.

He described the uproar of the Congress over the NEET exam as a part of the politics of spreading confusion. Because when more than one and a half dozen cases of paper leak came to light one after the other in Rajasthan, neither they nor their leader Rahul Gandhi uttered a word. Whereas everyone knows about the NEET case that the court is still working on this entire dispute, and it is necessary to wait for its decision. Along with this, the Central Education Department has taken important decisions like allowing all the candidates with grace marks to appear in the examination again and forming a high power committee to investigate the irregularities and improve the examination process. Since the future of 24 lakh students depends on the decision taken on the examination, a detailed investigation and serious deliberation is being carried out in this matter. He alleged that on this issue also the Congress is working on its old policy of spreading confusion. But the people of the country have full faith in the NDA government led by their elected PM Modi. They are not going to be misled by the opposition including the Congress.
