4,500 youth from U’khand selected as Agniveer soldiers

Dehradun, 30 Dec: Major General Manoj Tiwari called on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his official residence here today. Tiwari shared with the CM that 4,500 candidates from Uttarakhand have been selected under Agniveer recruitment. Additionally, recruitment would soon also be conducted for 2,000 vacant posts. Major General Tiwari mentioned that camps would be set up at the state and district levels to ensure maximum participation of youth from the state in the upcoming recruitments.
During the discussion, Chief Minister Dhami emphasised that Uttarakhand is a soldier-dominated state and assured full administrative support for the army in the recruitments. He stated that the state government would provide all possible support for the camps to be set up by the army in Uttarakhand.
