Dehradun, 4 May: The Pestle Weed School is thrilled to announce its upcoming 33rd Induction Ceremony & Annual Prize Distribution, set to take place on Sunday, 5th May. The ceremony will serve as a prestigious platform to recognize and instate the new student leaders who will take the school‘s vision forward.
Major General Yashpal Singh Ahlawat AVSM, YSM, SM, MGGS Operations Northern Command has kindly consented to grace the momentous occasion as Chief Guest. The Alumnus of 1984-85 batch of Children’s Academy, Tagore Villa and then the Captain of Jhansi House & a prominent member of Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, Football & Swimming school teams, an active participator in all games & sports & co-curricular activities brought laurels to his Alma Mater single handedly and great team man. The General Officer with a career spanning 33 years has given meritorious service in insurgency ridden state of Jammu and Kashmir commanding challenging portfolios of having commanded Battalions, Brigades and Division along with coveted instructional and staff appointments.
