Dehradun, 19 Jun: The highly anticipated Mantrana Manfest 3.0 for the 2025-2026 academic session concluded a successful run from 16 to 18 June at the Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Auditorium, DAV PG College. Organised by the Mantrana Society in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the event witnessed considerable participation, providing a vibrant platform for youth to showcase their talents and discover their potential.
The mega event progressed under the vision of Dr Onima Sharma, Coordinator IQAC and Founder-Director of the Mantrana Society, alongside Principal Prof Kunwar Kaushal Kumar. The seamless execution of the festival was made possible by the dedicated faculty mentors, including Dr Naina Srivastava, Prof Anju Bali Pandey, Dr Kalpana Tripathi, Dr Usha Pathak, and Dr. Priyanka Dhasmana.
Designed to test both creative and academic rigour, the three-day itinerary was packed with competitive events. Day 1 kicked off with Reel Making and a Science Exhibition. Day 2 expanded into Stone Painting, Creative Writing, a high-energy Treasure Hunt, and preliminary rounds for Debate and Declamation. The final day crowned the top talents with a Quiz Competition, the Declamation and Debate finals, and an expressive Open Mic Competition.
Adding a touch of glamour and professional expertise, Mumbai-based actor and producer Soumya Pandey, originally from Dehradun, served as the esteemed jury member for the Open Mic, greatly encouraging the participants.
The event bridged the organisation’s past and present, with prominent alumni returning to serve as jury members. The panels benefited from the experience of first President Prakhar
Bhatnagar, former Presidents Siddharth Baluni, Nidhi Rawat, Mukul Bahuguna, and Mahak Bhandari, and former Vice President Ananya Kumar. The gathering was also graced by notable former leaders who have achieved national laurels: Megha Sharma (who represented Uttarakhand in the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament) and Shaswat Bachetti (current NDA Cadet).
Crucially, the flawless execution of Manfest 3.0 was driven by student leadership. Working under the careful supervision of the faculty, current Mantrana Society President Divya Chamoli put in an immense amount of hard work to ensure the event’s triumph, and was rightfully recognised with the prestigious title of “Mantranian of the Year”. Ultimately, Manfest 3.0 proved to be more than an annual celebration; it was a vital stepping stone for tomorrow’s leaders.
