DEHRADUN, 23 Aug: A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed on Saturday between Graphic Era Institute of Medical Sciences and the Ex-CAPF Personnel Association to provide treatment at concessional rates. Under this MoA, retired paramilitary forces personnel, serving members, and their dependents will receive medical and surgical facilities at CGHS-approved rates.
As part of the MoA, paramilitary personnel and non-CGHS dependents will be entitled to OPD and IPD consultations, diagnostic tests, surgeries, cancer treatments, and bed facilities at prescribed rates. The benefits will also extend to parents, sons and daughters-in-law, daughters and sons-in-law of the personnel. Widows, Veer Naris, and subordinate officers will be given special priority. According to the agreement, factors such as age, income, or employment status will not affect eligibility for this facility. This initiative marks a significant step towards ensuring better healthcare facilities for paramilitary forces personnel and their families in Uttarakhand.
The MoA was signed by Maj Gen (Retd) Sanjay Puri, General Manager, Graphic Era Hospital, and JS Tadiyal, Retd. Commandant & General Secretary, Ex-CAPF Association.
During the MoA, IG SS Kothiyal (Retd.) BSF, IG PC Dangwal (Retd) SSB, DIG NS Dharmashaktu (Retd) ITBP, Commander JS Tadiyal (Retd) ITBP, Commander SCS Rawat (Retd) CRPF, Inspector Kundan Singh (Retd) CRPF, and GEIMS COO Atul Bahal were also present.
