Dehradun, 2 Dec: Soldier Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi today inspected the ongoing construction work on the Military Dham at Guniyal village, here.
During the inspection, the Minister provided necessary directions to the officials regarding the construction work. He instructed them to expedite the final stages of the construction and ensure the project is completed within the stipulated timeline. He also emphasised the need to focus on the grandeur and sanctity of the Military Dham.
Joshi said that the Military Dham, conceived by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and envisioned by the state government as a dream project, would soon be dedicated to the people of the state. He mentioned that this memorial is being constructed to honour the martyrs and preserve the glorious history of the armed forces. He added that the finishing work on the Military Dham is currently underway.
He further stated that the Military Dham, symbolising the heroic tales of the immortal martyrs, would soon be dedicated to the brave women, mothers, and the people of the state. He expressed his belief that this memorial would inspire the spirit of patriotism in future generations.
Present at the inspection were Director, Soldier Welfare, Brigadier Amritlal Lal (Retd), Deputy Director Colonel MS Jodha, Joint Secretary Sunil Singh, Project Director Ravindra Kumar, District Panchayat Vice-President Deepak Pundir, and other officials.
