Dehradun, 21 Sept: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi participated in a cleanliness drive organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Kashipur. A service week is being held as part of PM Modi’s birthday celebrations, under which he spread the message of cleanliness by sweeping the floor.
He also garlanded the statues of Maharana Pratap and Govind Vallabh Pant and planted a tree in Pant Park, Kashipur, under the campaign.
Minister Joshi said on the occasion that cleanliness is like ‘Sanjeevani’ for life. There is a need to awaken public awareness towards cleanliness and inculcate a sense of responsibility among citizens.
