DEHRADUN, 9 Sept: Sainik Welfare Minister, Ganesh Joshi, today expressed deep grief over the sudden death of Indian Air Force Wing Commander Anupam Gusain, a resident of Ajabpur. Minister Ganesh Joshi paid tribute by laying a wreath on the mortal remains of Wing Commander Anupam Gusain in Ajabpur. He consoled the family members.
On this occasion, thousands of local people including former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat were present. Minister Joshi prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul and wished the bereaved family members to bear this deep sorrow. He also assured the family members of all possible help from the government.
Wing Commander Anupam Gusain (38), son of Ravindra Gusain, a promising officer of the Indian Air Force, resident of Govind Nagar, Ajabpur Kala, Dehradun, was posted as Wing Commander in 7 Wing, Ambala. He died on Friday due to heart failure. His mortal remains were brought to Jolly Grant Airport from Leh by a special Indian Air Service at 9:10 am. Wing Commander Gusain was sent for exercises in Leh. From the airport, his mortal remains were taken to his residence in Dehradun by the army and family members in an ambulance at 9.30 am, where hundreds of people bid their last farewell to the departed soul.
