Dehradun, 17 Nov: Satpal Maharaj, Uttarakhand Tourism Minister, visited the Uttarakhand Tourism Pavilion at the ongoing 39th India International Trade Fair (IITF),Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on 16 November.
He was greeted by Poonam Chand, Joint Director, UTDB. The Minister said on the occasion that the tourism industry in Uttarakhand is the key pillar of the state’s economy and, hence, the state government was undertaking robust steps to promote the tourism destinations abroad.
The Uttarakhand pavilion at IITF features a ‘Wellness Summit-2020’, which is going to be organised by the state government in April, next year.
