Minister Uniyal, MLA Joshi flag off ‘Modi Foods’ vans

DEHRADUN, 28 Apr: State Agriculture Minister Subodh Uniyal and Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi flagged off five ‘Modi Foods’ vans to provide rations to the residents of Nayagaon, Anarwala, Johri Gaon, Malsi, Salawala and Makdath Gaon, here, on Tuesday.
MLA Joshi revealed on the occasion that around 7500 ration kits had been distributed under the Modi Foods campaign in his Mussoorie Constituency, thus far. Over 7000 persons were being fed under the Modi Kitchen initiative.
Minister Uniyal pointed out that humanity required rising above political and community differences. The government was making every effort to ensure no persons in need were left out. He praised the efforts of MLA Joshi in this regard.
Joshi reminded that BJP activists were always in mission mode to serve the people. As an ex-serviceman, too, he stood with PM Modi and Party President JP Nadda in the war against the Corona virus. He pointed out that, apart from the 1000 ration kits dispatched today, 600 food packets were distributed in Garhi Cantt, 1800 in Jakhan, 450 in Dobhalwala, 300 in Sahastradhara, 800 in Mussoorie, and 2000 in Rajpur.
Also present on the occasion were BJP Mandal President Rajiv Gurung, Sunder Singh Kothal, Ankit Joshi, Sikander Singh, Corporator Satyendra Nath, Manmohan Bhardwaj, Sandhya Thapa, Jyoti Kotiya, etc.
