Dehradun, 16 Oct: On the occasion of the 64th birthday of Mata Mangala, founder of Hans Foundation, Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi distributed sanitiser, masks, chyavanprash and kara to hundreds of people at an ashram in Purukul Gaon. Celebrating with all the employees of the Ashram, Joshi also distributed sweets on the occasion.
Joshi said, that with the help of Mata Mangala, memorial gates for martyrs had been built on various roads in Dehradun. He described Mata Mangala as Maa Lakshmi for the poor and needy people, as she provided for treatment of thousands of sick people, helped in the marriage of girls from poor families, built houses for the needy, and performed other charitable works.
MLA Joshi reminded that 13 memorial gates had been constructed in Dehradun to pay tribute to the martyrs of the state. He added that the State Government is also getting immense support of the Hans Foundation in the field of education. Hans Foundation is undertaking treatment at very little cost in hospitals established in Pauri and Haridwar.
Among those present included Hans Foundation’s Sajwan, Deepak Parmar, Laxman Singh, Zila Panchayat Vice President Deepak Pundir, Councillor Sundar Singh Kothal, Anurag Singh, Mahendra Pundir, etc.
At the same time, the birthday of Mata Mangala was also celebrated in Vilaspur Kadli in Dehradun. BJP’s Vandana Bisht, Nirmala Joshi, wife of MLA Joshi, Jyoti Kotia, Padmendra Singh Bisht from Hans Foundation, etc., were present.
