DEHRADUN, 28 Feb: Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi today inaugurated the newly built walkway and railing leading to the Santla Devi Temple, here, today. The work was undertaken by the Uttarakhand Peyjal Sansadhan evam Nirman Nigam at a cost of Rs 97.12 lakhs, approved by the Chief Minister.
Joshi said on the occasion that he always worked to keep development going in the Mussoorie constituency. He declared that a Tata Magic would ply in the area soon. He added that water supply projects were being constructed in Galjwadi at the cost of Rs 400 lakhs, in Gangol Panditwadi for Rs 170 lakhs, and in Vilaspur Kadli, for Rs 220 lakhs. Work would also begin on the water supply scheme in Hariyawal Khurd and the six kilometre long Santla Devi motor road. He promised to provide the best facilities to pilgrims arriving at Santla Devi Temple.
At another programme, Cooperatives Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat promised a Cooperatives building in Jaitanwala.
Present on the occasion were BJP Mandal President Poonam Nautiyal, Deepak Pundeer, Laxman Singh, Prem Singh Panwar, Sikandar Singh, Surendra Rana, Sandhya Thapa, Jyoti Kotiya, Pramial Devi, Anuj Rohila, Mohan Petwal and others.
