MLA Joshi inspects Buraskhanda lake site


MUSSOORIE, 18 Sep: A lake is going to be constructed with support of the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) in Buraskhanda of Mussoorie Assembly constituency. This lake is expected to promote tourism and employment.
On Friday, Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi inspected the site with officials of the Forest Department, Mussoorie. He thanked Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Forest Minister Dr Harak Singh Rawat for making Buraskhanda a new tourist destination. He revealed that the lake is being built at a cost of Rs 25 lakhs and it would have a gazebo, selfie points, etc. Joshi expressed happiness that, after the creation of this lake, there would also be employment generation in Buraskhanda. Present on the occasion were Divisional Forest Officer, Mussoorie, Kahakshan Naseem, Sundar Singh Payal, Rajpal Melwal, Ram Singh, Mohan Singh, Brahm Dutt Joshi, Shailendra Singh and others.
