BJP’s State Election Media Centre inaugurated

Dehradun 19 Mar: BJP today inaugurated its state election media centre set up at Hotel NJ Portico at Rispana Chowk. The State Election Media Centre was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, State Election In-charge Dushyant Gautam, State Party President Mahendra Bhatt, Election Management Committee Chairman Naresh Bansal and General Secretary Organisation Ajaey Kumar.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is clear that Modi government is going to be formed in the country for the third straight time. People of this country are now predicting that the BJP alone might win 370, or even 400 seats. On this occasion, State Party President and Rajya Sabha MP, Mahendra Bhatt also announced the dates for nomination of each of the 5 BJP candidates, all to be held in the presence of the CM, State President Bhatt.
In his address on this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, today there is a great atmosphere in the country in favour of PM Narendra Modi and the BJP. He said that Uttarakhand resides in the heart of Modi and the people here have Modi in their hearts. People of the state are Modi‘s family and they will hand over all the five seats to him. All previous records regarding the margin of the BJP’s win in the state will be broken. Dhami said, it is the result of the development and public welfare policies of the Central and State Government that there is tremendous enthusiasm among the people of Uttarakhand. He said, recently he got the opportunity to participate in big programmes at 25 places in the state, out of which 18 programmes were related to the women welfare. The crowd of thousands of people in each programme is a clear indication that public has blessed the BJP Government and has placed its trust on the work of the double engine government. The BJP workers are also fully prepared for the elections up to the booth and Panna level.
Referring to the Global Investor Summit, Dhami said that the government has been successful in signing investment MoUs worth Rs 3.54 crore which is much more than the target. It is a matter of great happiness that out of this, the grounding of a project worth Rs 91,000 crore has been achieved so far. Dhami added that Uttarakhand became the first state in the country to make UCC a law and get it approved by the President. This law will not only ensure equal legal rights for all the people of the state but will also provide protection to mothers, sisters and elders. It also works to provide support, security and equality to everyone. While sharing his experiences, the CM said that many places in Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Dehradun have expressed gratitude for this law. Referring to the Haldwani incident, Dhami said that the situation was immediately controlled by the government. The government has decided that those who spoil the atmosphere of love, peace and harmony in Uttarakhand will not be forgiven or spared at any cost. For which, the state has come up with strict anti-riot laws so that every penny of the loss caused in such incidents is recovered from the rioters and miscreants.
Addressing the media on this occasion, State President Mahendra Bhatt said that for the next one month, all the media activities programmes at the state level will be conducted from the media centre only. He said that the party has decided the nomination process of all the candidates. Under which, in the presence of Chief Minister Dhami, nominations will be made by the candidates in Almora on 22 March, Tehri and Pauri on 26 March and Nainital on 27 March. He also said that due to the start of online nomination process in Haridwar, online nomination will be done by the candidates there on 22nd. Thereafter, on March 23, as per the sentiments of the workers, nomination will be done on a large scale in Haridwar.
Bhatt also praised the role of media and expressed hope that the party will continue to get the support of media in the elections also. He said that the BJP is entering the field with the aim of further strengthening the victory in the elections. The aim of Uttarakhand BJP is not to defeat anyone but to gain public trust on a larger scale. Therefore, in relation to the positive goals of the party, the party expects constructive cooperation from the media in nation building. He told that before this, the BJP Government has been continuously implementing the suggestions received through the media and that the party considers the opinion of the media as crucial for the state and the party. State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan proposed the vote on thanks.
During this interaction, in the presence of the Chief Minister and the state election in-charge, the Gorkha Democratic Front extended its support to the BJP candidates. State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that in the letter the Front made it clear that it was giving its support after being influenced by PM Modi‘s development policy and the party’s cultural nationalist ideas. There are around 4.5 lakh to 5 lakh voters of people belonging to Gorkha community in the state. During this, Gorkha Front’s Central President Surya Vikram Shahi, State President Surendra Gurang, Organisation Secretary Devi Shahi, Tiku Thapa, Shubhawanti Upadhyay, Madhusudan Sharma, BP Sharma and Sona Shahi were prominently present.
On this occasion, BJP’s state General Secretary Aditya Aditya Kothari, Rajendra Bisht, State Treasurer Puneet Mittal, State Office Secretary Kaustubhanand Joshi, State Spokesperson Suresh Joshi, MLAs Vinod Chamoli and Khajan Das, Dr Devendra Bhasin Madhu Bhatt and Kailash Pant were among those present.
