Dehradun, 19 Mar: Pradhan of Village Jhajhra, Pinky Devi met Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) on Tuesday.
Gram Panchayat Jhajhra is a village adopted by the Governor. Pinky Devi informed the Governor about action on the instructions given during her last visit.
She stated that, as per his instructions, street lights have been installed in the village and other works have also been done. Many works are also ongoing in the village, which would be completed soon. She thanked the Governor for getting the development works done.
The Governor also obtained information about the Anganwadi Centre, health sub-centre, school, etc., located in Jhajhra village.
