Mount Fort Academy wins Inter-School Hindi Debate at Heritage School

Dehradun, 11 Nov: ‘Abhivyakti’ – The Inter School Hindi Debate was organised at The Heritage School on 9 November.

Sixteen renowned schools of Dehradun participated in this event. Saint Kabir Academy, The Heritage School North Campus, Birla Open Minds International School, St Xavier’s School, Doon Cambridge School, Times World School, Shivalik International School, Touchwood School, Ann Mary School, Raja Rammohan Roy Academy, Win Hill Global School, Mount Litera Zee School, Khrist Jyoti Academy, The Indian Cambridge School, Mount Fort Academy School and The Heritage School were among the participants. The topic for the debate was ‘परम्पराओं की भूल भुलैया में भारतीय मानव अपना अस्तित्व खो रहा है’. The participants presented their views for and against the topic.

The event began with the presentation of bouquets by the principal Dr Anju Tyagi to the judges.

The Jury comprised Anjali Bisht of St Joseph’s Academy and Dr Anupama Nautiyal of Cambrian Hall School.

Ann Mary School was the runner up in the competition while Mount Fort Academy was the winner. The best speaker for the motion was Swastika Sati of Ann Mary School, and the best speaker against the motion was Pragya Yarmita Negi of Saint Kabir Academy. The winners were given souvenirs and certificates by the school Councillor Charu Chaudhary and Principal Dr Anju Tyagi. The judges were presented mementos and souvenirs, which were also presented to the accompanying teachers from each school. At the end the principal blessed all the participants and wished them to keep moving ahead in life. The event was managed by the school Hindi Department.
