Dehradun, 11 Nov: The 3rd Mr John J Sookias Memorial Senior Girls’ Volleyball Tournament 2024-25 began at The Heritage School, here, today.
The tournament was inaugurated by Principal Dr Anju Tyagi. She wished all the players good luck.
The opening match was played between Raja Rammohan Roy Academy, Clement Town, and Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Balawala. Shri Guru Ram Rai, Balawala, won the toss. Raja Rammohan Roy Academy served first. Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School won the match by the set score of 2-0.
The second match was played between The Heritage School and New Doon Blossoms School, Sahastradhara Road. New Doon Blossoms School won the toss and chose to serve first. New Doon Blossoms School, Sahastradhara Road, won the match by the set score of 2-0.
The third match was played between Raja Rammohan Roy Academy and Him Jyoti School, Sahastradhara Road. Him Jyoti School, Sahastradhara Road won the toss. Raja Rammohan Roy Academy served first. Him Jyoti School, Sahastradhara Road won the match by the set score of 2-0.
The fourth match was played between Winhill Global School and New Doon Blossoms School. New Doon Blossoms School won the toss and chose to serve first. New Doon Blossoms School won the match by the set score of 2-0.
