KASHIPUR, 9 Apr: Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, who reached the election meeting in Islamnagar Basai Gram Panchayat of Kashipur in Udham Singh Nagar district here, today, strongly attacked the opposition. He went around the Muslim dominated colonies in the district to seek support for the BJP candidate from Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar Ajay Bhatt.
Speaking to the voters, Hussain claimed that now the people of the Muslim community will not ride the sinking boat. This time Muslims will fully support PM Modi and contribute to his becoming the PM once again. Hussain said that the inclination of Muslim society is towards PM Modi. Muslim community is describing PM Modi as ‘Bhai Jaan’, he claimed.
The former Union Minister also held a public meeting in Islamnagar Basai Gram Panchayat of Kashipur Legislative Assembly in support of BJP candidate Ajay Bhatt under Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar Lok Sabha seat. Addressing the public meeting, he said that the Muslim community is now feeling cheated by the Congress Party. Now even the Congressmen no longer trust the Congress, so why should the Muslim community trust them?
Hussain said that, till date, the Congress party has been getting Muslim votes by intimidating the Muslims in the name of BJP, but now the Muslim community will vote after thinking and not out of fear. A true Muslim is one who fears only God. He called upon the Muslims not to succumb to Congress’s provocations. Launching a strong attack on Congress, he said that the maximum welfare of the minority community has happened during the tenure of PM Modi.
Hussain said that ever since the BJP government was formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, communal riots have become a thing of the past in the country. People are now living in peace. The economic condition of the people has improved. Congress has always worked to create a rift between Hindus and Muslims. For 70 years, Congress worked to exploit the country. Congress has made many records in the matter of corruption.
Today, when it comes to India and Pakistan, minorities in India have the right to equality and have all the facilities. On the other hand, Pakistan has become a country of beggars. Every Pakistani has a bowl in his pocket. Today they have no food and no water. They only have bombs. Hussain said that Congress is now on crutches, unable to run on its own.
