MUSSOORIE, 19 Dec: Mussoorie Congress President Gaurav Agarwal, former MLA Jot Singh Gunsola and former Chairman Manmohan Singh Mall jointly attacked the BJP governments at the Centre and the state at a joint press conference held in a local hotel, today. They also asked 14 questions of PM Narendra Mode, saying students and women were lathi-charged, roads were in bad condition, health services were suffering, inflation was at its peak, Railways were facing losses, the value of the rupee was at its lowest, petrol and gas cylinders were most expensive, rape cases were increasing by the day but nothing was being done. In the present scenario, the Modi Government had spread an atmosphere of fear among the people. They alleged said that Mussoorie had been developed by the Mussoorie BJP MLA only on paper, but in fact over the last 8 years nothing had been done to develop the Queen of the Hills. MLA Ganesh Joshi talked about a drinking water scheme worth Rs 144 crores, but when it would be seen on the ground no one knew. The Mussoorie Purukul ropeway project was being spoken about for a decade, but till today only a survey was going on. Work on the multilevel parking was also going very slowly. In such a situation, the people of Mussoorie had seen the real face of MLA Ganesh Joshi and a lesson would be taught to him in the coming election. Present on the occasion were Councilor Pratap Panwar, Darshan Rawat, Vinod Kumar, Bhagwati Prasad Kukreti, Ramprasad Kavi, Shivani Bharti and many others.
