Mussoorie Police holds Covid awareness rally

Mussoorie, 10 Nov: In light of the threat posed by Covid-19, the police took out a public awareness rally to encourage to follow physical distancing and to wear masks, here, today.
The rally started on Tuesday from Gandhi Chowk and was led by Mussoorie Police In-Charge Devender Aswal. On this occasion, police personnel tried to make people aware by carrying placards giving the message on Covid safety. The rally reached Picture Palace via the Martyrs’ Memmorial to the Mall Road.
Aswal appealed for following physical distancing, wearing masks and helmets on the occasion of Diwali. He said that the threat of corona had not ended. Following Covid precautions was the only defence. People should also wash or sanitise their hands. Corona could be prevented only with the cooperation of all people. Everyone had to understand their responsibility in this.
The police also distributed masks to the public. Present on the occasion were SSI Manohar Rawat, SI Suraj Kandari and other police officials.
