Dehradun, 30 Sep: A ‘goshthi’ was organised in honour of the country’s senior writer, Dr Lakshmi Shankar Bajpai in Palm City by Dehradun’s Navodit Pravah. On this occasion, former Vice Chancellor Dr Sudha Pandey, Navodit Pravah Editor Rajneesh Trivedi and poetess Dr Renu Pant welcomed Dr. Bajpai and renowned poetess Mamta Kiran by presenting shawls and mementos.
Dr Lakshmi Shankar Bajpai presented a Ghazal mentioning his memories of Dehradun.
Mamta Kiran also recited her thought-provoking poem. Dr Sudha Pandey recited one of her poems at everyone’s request. Dr Renu Pant recited her poem on daughter’s empowerment and highlighted the personality and work of the guest poets.
Sunil Trivedi was also present on the occasion.
At the end, Rashmi Alok proposed the vote of thanks.
