Dehradun, 19 Jan: Chairman of the Uttarakhand State Public Service Commission (UKPSC) Dr Rakesh Kumar asserted today that all necessary precautions are now being taken to ensure fair conduct of recruitment examinations due to be held in the near future.
In a statement issued today, Dr Kumar said that the entire team at the Commission responsible for conduct of the recruitment examinations and for maintaining the secrecy of the examination had now been replaced with a new team.
New Question Banks are being prepared within the premises of the Commission under very tight security and vigil by the Uttarakhand Police and the Intelligence teams to ensure fair conduct of the upcoming Patwari/Lekhpal recruitment examination to be held on 12 February, Main Entrance Test for PCS to be held between 23 and 26 February, and for the Forest Guards Examination to be held on 9 April, this year.
Kumar also added that a detailed internal inquiry and audit had been ordered by him of each and every examination conducted by the UKPSC, recently, and the officials asked to conduct it had been asked to submit the reports within a week’s time.
Following the receipt of these reports, and based on the Police reports, a comprehensive and final decision would be taken on the recruitment tests held earlier.
