Dehradun, 11 Oct: Chief Secretary Radha Raturi inaugurated the new premises of the Uttarakhand Gramin Bank’s Dehradun Main Branch, located opposite MKP College, here, today. This branch is notably managed entirely by women staff.
Raturi appreciated the bank’s efforts to enhance customer convenience and commended the display of products promoted by Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in the new premises.
Bank Chairman Hari Har Patnaik informed her that Uttarakhand Gramin Bank operates 292 branches and 624 Customer Service Centres across Uttarakhand, serving over 20 lakh customers, including 10 lakh women. The Dehradun branch, established in 1985, has been relocated to provide enhanced facilities.
NABARD General Manager Dr. Suman Kumar was also present. Other dignitaries present included Bank General Managers Amita Raturi, Ashish Gupta, Rajiv Prakash, and Bharti Naudiyal, Regional Manager Mahipal Singh Dasila and Kamal Verma.
Branch Manager Uma Nath expressed gratitude to the guests, officials, and customers. The programme was conducted by branch staff member Anushi Bahuguna.
