New Delhi, 14 Sep: The Chairman of Corporate Affairs of Oberoi Group, R Shankar, and other representatives of the group had a detailed discussion with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the sidelines of the curtain raiser held in New Delhi, today, regarding the expansion of their projects in Uttarakhand.
Representatives of the Oberoi Group visited various places in the state to take advantage of the growing luxury tourism potential in the state. In addition, Arjun Bhartia of Jubilant Pharma Group also held discussions with the CM over possible investment in the state.
It may be recalled that Oberoi Group is one of the largest luxury hospitality chains in the country. The company is operating more than 30 properties in the name of Oberoi and Trident. The group has a portfolio of 5000 rooms. The company’s flagship hotels include Oberoi Hotel in Delhi, Mumbai and Gurgaon, Rajvilas in Jaipur, Udaivilas in Udaipur, Vanyavilas in Ranthambore and Oberoi Wild Flower Hall in Shimla.
On the other hand, Jubilant Pharma Limited is an integrated global company in the pharmaceutical sector. It is engaged in pharmaceutical research and development and manufacturing. The company is currently operating in three areas.
