Dehradun, 1 Jun: The ONGC ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ commenced today via a virtual meet in which all employees took swachhta pledges at their work places in Dehradun. They promised to keep the environment clean and healthy. Keeping in view the current COVID-19 pandemic, Swachhta Pakhwada activities are being organised by taking all necessary precautions on social distancing, wearing masks, as per the guidelines issued from time to time.
The Swachhta Pledge was administered in Hindi by ED- HoI, ONGC Academy, Manoj Barthwal, and ED- HCA JR Vijayraj administered the pledge in English.
Key executives, senior executives and a number of ONGCians virtually joined the webex meet and took the swachhta E-pledge.
GM- Incharge, Rajbhasha, and CSR Dehradun, RR Dwivedi shared the activities to be organised during the Pakhwada viz Director (HR)’s interaction with work centres online, distribution of masks, sanitisers – COVID 19 relief measures to all secondary workforce across all ONGC work centres of Dehradun, providing oxygen concentrators in rural primary health centres, cleanliness drive in ONGC residential colonies, tree plantations, sapling distribution across all work-centres of Dehradun, online awareness webinar on swachhta, online swachhta competitions in ONGC operated schools, “say no to single use plastic” drives, launching swachhta related projects- health and hygiene projects, swachhta awareness through social media.
