Papon lights up Sanskriti Fest at Tula’s

Dehradun, 11 Apr: The annual cultural festival, Sanskriti 2025, at Tula’s Institute came to a grand finale with a soul-stirring and high-energy performance by celebrated Bollywood singer Papon, who had the entire campus swaying to his beats.
Known for his unique voice and heartfelt renditions, Papon delivered a dynamic setlist featuring fan favourites like ‘Aashiyana Mera’, ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’, ‘Mujhe Kaise Pata Na Chala’, and timeless classics like ‘Ek Ajnabee Haseena Se’ and ‘Pehla Nasha’. His effortless blend of contemporary Bollywood melodies with nostalgic old-school tracks created an atmosphere of pure magic.

A special highlight of the night was when Papon sang the iconic Pahadi folk song ‘Bedu Pako Baramasa’, instantly striking a chord with the audience. Students broke into cheers and danced in unison, celebrating their cultural roots with pride and joy.
During his interaction with the students, Papon expressed his affection for Uttarakhand, saying, “This feels like home. My wife is from Dehradun and we have a house in Mukteshwar. The love and energy I receive here is unmatched.” His humility and warmth made the evening all the more memorable.

Chairman Tula’s Group Sunil Kumar Jain shared his thoughts on the performance, stating, “Having Papon perform at Sanskriti was an incredible experience for our students. His voice, his energy, and the cultural connection he brought to the stage truly made this night unforgettable.”
The event also recognised academic and extracurricular excellence among students through special Excellence Awards, applauding their dedication and achievements.
Present were Tula’s Group Chairman Sunil Kumar Jain, Secretary Sangeeta Jain, Executive Director Silky Jain Marwah, Vice Chairman Raunak Jain, Vice President, Technology, Dr Raghav Garg, and Director of Tula’s Institute Dr Shailendra Kumar Tiwari, alongside faculty members and students from Tula’s Institute and Tula’s International School.
