DEHRADUN, 24 Dec: Play Pen was at its colourful best today when the children celebrated Christmas, Uttarakhand Day, and ‘Happy Day’. The school campus was decorated with colourful streamers and a Christmas tree was put up. The atmosphere was full of the holiday spirit. All the children including the Play Class children participated with full enthusiasm.
School Director Anil Agarwal and Principal Dr Indu Agarwal were presented Santa Caps, which they donned with pleasure. There were at least a hundred Santas roaming around.
All the children put up a spectacular show of dances and Christmas carols and Garhwali songs. The Uttarakhand song cum dance sequence, as well as the Nativity Play, were a spectacle to watch. The audience of parents and staff was simply spellbound. The rainbow dance depicting the importance of different colours was another treat for the eyes. Sweets were distributed to all the children and the programmed ended to the sounds of Jingle Bells.
