Mussoorie, 24 Dec: The news of the death of a student from burn injuries inflicted by a stalker in Pauri sent a wave of grief through Mussoorie. Students of MPG College gathered, here, at Picture Palace Chowk and paid candle-light tribute to the girl. The students prayed for peace of the departed soul. They further demanded that the accused be tried in a fast track court and be hanged to death. A candle light march was also taken out.
The students also urged girls to immediately inform parents and also file a complaint with the police at the first sign of harassment.
Present on the occasion were Sapna Sharma, Anil Singh, Sumit Bhandari, Ramesh Bhandari, Aditya Padiyar, Mohit Panwar, Suraj Nautiyal, Farah, Dheeraj Rawat, Ashish, Abhilash, Gaurav, Umed, Rohit, Aman and many others.
