DEHRADUN, 6 Dec: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Dehradun on the morning of 8 December to inaugurate the ‘Uttarakhand Global Investors’ Summit 2023’ being held at the Forest Research Institute, here.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi will also address the gathering which is likely to comprise of leading industrialists of the country including Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also reach Dehradun on 9 December and participate in the Summit on the concluding day. The ‘Uttarakhand Global Investors’ Summit 2023’ is a step towards establishing Uttarakhand as a new investment destination. The two-day summit is being held on 8 and 9 December, with the theme, ‘Peace to Prosperity’.
The summit will be attended by thousands of investors and delegates from across the world. It will witness participation of Union Ministers, Ambassadors of various countries including UK, US, Spain, along with leading industrialists, among others. Special Audi, Mercedes and BMW Cars have been arranged to carry the VVIPs to the venue. Sources added that at least 50 top industrialists of the country are also expected to participate.
Very tight security arrangements have been made for the summit in view of the visits of PM Modi and HM Amit Shah. The area around FRI will strictly remain a no drone zone during the two days of the conference. Traffic diversion will also be made to ensure smooth passage of the VVIPs coming to attend the summit.
