PNB celebrates 132nd Foundation Day, pays tribute to Lala Lajpat Rai

Dehradun, 13 Apr: Punjab National Bank (PNB) celebrated its 132nd Foundation Day, today, marking its legacy as one of India’s first swadeshi banks. The programme began with a floral tribute to Lala Lajpat Rai, who is honoured as the founder of the bank.

On this occasion, Zonal Head Anupam, Dehradun Circle Head Abhinandan Singh, and other senior officials were present. The bank organised various activities, including social outreach initiatives, health check-up camps, and cultural programmes.

As part of the celebrations, PNB also organised the “PNB Soldierathon 2026,” aimed at promoting fitness and a sense of patriotism among citizens.

Zonal Head Anupam expressed gratitude to customers, employees, and society, stating that the bank remains committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities on the occasion of its Foundation Day.
