MUSSOORIE, 10 Dec: The booklet, “Kadam dar Kadam Zindagi”, written by Uttarakhandi writer Pradeep Bhandari was jointly released by Chief Guest and Municipal Chairman Anuj Gupta, Mukesh Lal and Rajat Aggarwal, at a function held at a local hotel. Addressing media persons, Pradeep Bhandari said that the new trend of Facebook, WhatsApp and mobiles, had taken readers from the new generation away from books and, especially, literature. The goal of publishing this book was to inspire the new generation to read and write. He said literature and books had a profound effect on society. Present on the occasion were Gambhir Singh Jayda, Kanta Prasad, renowned composers Sanjay Kumola, Anuj Joshi, folk singer Jitendra Panwar, folk singer Gusain, Dr Amardev Godiyal, Rajat Aggarwal, Arvind Shukla, Deveshwar Prasad Joshi, Kamal Bhandari, Madhuri Nautiyal, Rajyashree Rawat, Kamlesh Bhandari and many others.
