Pramukh welcomes Founder Ram Prasad

DEHRADUN, 9 Jul: Ram Prasad, who established Pramukh in 1996, to collect house to house garbage in Dehradun, a unique system established as the first of its kind in the city. He also praised the efforts being made to avoid use of plastic, which causes pollution. He was told that projects had been taken up for sustainable management of waste, especially segregation at different places rather than dumping at one place. Those present included Florence Pandhi, Dr Arun Kumar, Kusum, Jo Chopra, Brig KG Behl and Kamal Behl, Col JS Mann, Dr SS Negi, Beena Negi, Paramjeet Singh Kakkar, Nitin Shah.
