Dehradun, 4 Jan: Preparations have intensified in Uttarakhand too for the upcoming ‘Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha’ to be held in Ayodhya on 22 January. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed that the programmes and celebratory functions to be organised on the occasion of Uttarayani should be held on the theme of Pran Pratishtha.
The CM has also appealed to the people to organise various events during this period along with the lighting of Diyas as on Diwali festival. He observed that there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the entire country regarding the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha. However, in Uttarakhand, the enthusiasm and the vibes for the Ram Lala Pran Pratishtha event are even greater.
He appealed to people to perform Deepotsav in their homes on the occasion of Pran Pratistha ceremony. Apart from Kalash Yatras, Ram Katha should also be organised along with a campaign to clean the ghats of major rivers. Essay and painting competitions should be organised in schools on the ideals of Lord Ram.
