Dehradun, 17 Apr: A mock drill was organised by the Uttarakhand Police Fire Services at the Himalaya Wellness Company, here, today.
All the factory workers and staff were shown the various equipments and their use by the Fire Officers of the Department through the drill.
A fire extinguishing exercise was also conducted on the occasion.
Unit President Dr S Farooq welcomed Fire Officer Sunil Dutt Tewari and his team with a couplet, “Kaise Mumkin Hai Lage Aag aur Dhuan Na uthey, Dil Bhi Jalta Hai To Paseene Chhut Jaate Hain.” He emphasised that presence of mind is essential in a fire emergency.
At the end, GP Pant proposed the vote of thanks.
