Dehradun, 1 Jun: Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal today participated in the Sanatan Vedic Priest and Arya Instructor Training Camp organised by Swasti Bhav Dharmarth Nyas as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering and trainees after inaugurating the event, Uniyal stressed upon the importance of Sanatan culture and the Indian knowledge tradition.
Uniyal said that the revival of the Rishi tradition, preservation of Sanatan culture and dissemination of Indian knowledge to every individual through such initiatives is highly inspiring for society. He emphasised that Sanatan culture is not confined merely to rituals or faith but represents an eternal and scientific way of life. He also emphasised the need for moral values in the modern age and said that efforts to keep society connected with righteousness and its glorious past are commendable.
The Health and Forest Minister asserted that when the younger generation fully imbibes this scientific and spiritual heritage, only then can a strong, prosperous and value-based nation be built. He observed that the practical wisdom of the Vedas paves the way for global welfare and the upliftment of human consciousness.
On the occasion, Uniyal extended his appreciation to the office bearers, acharyas and organisers of Swasti Bhav Dharmarth Nyas for their noble work, farsighted vision and excellent management. He called upon the people present to take a collective pledge to preserve this invaluable and rich cultural heritage and to carry it forward to every individual.
