Principals’ & Teachers’ Conference to be held in December

DEHRADUN, 29 Nov: To continue with the objective to equip Principals and Teachers with the new trends, the Principals Progressive Schools’ Association, Uttarakhand, is organising a Global Conference for Principals & Teachers of Distinguished Schools from 20 to 22 December. The theme will be ‘From Learner to Stalwart of Tomorrow’ on 22 December for Chairpersons and Principals. On 20-21 December, it will be “Innovation for Knowing Your Child (KYC)”, for Teachers. As many as 200 Principals and 300 Teachers from all over India will be present. The prominent resource persons will be Gareth Johnson from UK; Ashok Ganguly, former Chairman, CBSE; G Balasubramaniam, Educational Advisor; Prof Harish Chaudhary, Professor, Department of Management Studies IIT, Delhi; Dr Sheela Taori, Eminent Educationist; Shomie Ranjan Das, former Head Master, The Doon School; Dr Vineet Gupta; and Maj Gen Shammi Sabharwal (Retd). Present at the opening ceremony would be Chief Guest and Chief Minister Trivender Singh Rawat; MP Ajay Bhatt; MLA Ganesh Joshi; R Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary, School Education, Uttarakhand. Those present at the Valedictory Ceremony would be Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’; Ravinath Raman, Garhwal Commissioner; RD Sewak, DGM, PNB; SK Sinha, Chairman, Indian Public School; and Maj Gen Sudhir Bahl, ADG, NCC. Distinguished Educationists, Principals and Teachers will be felicitated with Life Time Achievement Awards.
