Dehradun, 12 Aug: A Rakhi making competition was held for students of classes first to five at The Aryan School.
The students were judged on the basis of creativity, neatness and use of appropriate decorative material.
“The students also prepared Rakhis for the Indian soldiers and sent themalong with handmade cards. The students showcased their skills by making a thread of affection and protection. The students took part with keen enthusiasm and made beautiful ‘rakhis’. Such competitions help develop creativity among students,” stated Vice Principal Jyoti Gupta.
The class wise winners of the competition were Shlok Negi, Ramaditya Bhushan, Yajur Arora, Rajveer Sood, Ananya, Rohan Kumar, Atharv Kumar Singh, Rudraksh, Kashvi Goyal, Pranav, Krishna Kumar, Ashmit Singh, Nandini Verma, Adiva Jain, Vidit Gupta, Mahant Singh, Shrey Thakur, ParthJalodia, SaranshTripathi and Vanshika.
The Principal, B Dasgupta, and Vice Principal Jyoti Gupta were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Principal B Dasgupta said, “These rakhis will be packed and sent to soldiers guarding our border, as a token of appreciation and love for them.”
