Recruitment Rally for Territorial Army

DEHRADUN, 11 Dec: 120 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) BIHAR is organising a Recruitment Rally for domiciled Indian Nationals belonging to Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, Uttarakhand, MP, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar at Bhubaneswar (Campus of 120 Infantry Battalion (TA) Bihar) from 17 December 2018 to 22 December 2018 for filling up vacancies comprising of Soldier (General Duty), Soldier Clerk, Soldier (Chef), Soldier Washerman, Soldier House Keeper, Soldier Tailor, Soldier Carpenter, Soldier Dresser and Soldier Equipment Repair (ER) personnel in Territorial Army.
Datewise Recruitment of Soldier (General Duty), Clerk, Chef Community, Washerman, House Keeper, Tailor, Carpenter, Hair Dresser & ER for the candidates of Jharkhand & Chhatisgarh on 17 December, for the candidates of Uttarakhand & Madhya Pradesh on 18 Dec 2018, for the candidates of Odisha on 19 and for the candidates of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on 20.
Eligible candidates of respective states of domicile volunteering to join the Territorial Army are to report for screening along with their educational certificates in original along with two sets of Photostat copies of the certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer at 0600hrs on each date as mentioned below. Documents checking, selected, medical test of candidates screened in the rally will be held at the venue after physical tests. Medical of balance candidates will be held on 21 & 22 Dec 2018.
Interested and desirous persons who have passed 10+2 exam from any stream with minimum 60% marks in aggregate & 50% marks in each subject individual with proficiency in computer and typing will be given additional weightage for Soldier Clerk, passed Matric with 45% marks aggregate & 33% in each subject or pass/qualified in higher class (ie 12th or above) for General Duty. For Tradesman with matric pass excluding House Keeper 8th pass only. In addition to educational qualification they should have requisite physical standard minimum height of 160 cms, weight of 50 Kgs and chest 77 cms with minimum 05 cms expansion.
