DEHRADUN, 17 Jan: Maa Anandmayee Memorial School, Raiwala, reopened, today, after its winter break. On the occasion, it bid farewell to BM Sharma, who has served as MAMS Principal. Sharma is a seasoned educationist who has led the school through a period of transition, making some noteworthy changes.
Ritwiz Gaur has been appointed the new Principal with immediate effect. Gaur comes with almost 2 decades of experience in education, having served as Housemaster at the prestigious Mayo College, one of India’s oldest and top ranked boarding schools (established in 1875). He has also been Principal of Chinmaya Education Society prior to this assignment.
Gaur has been a school leader, examiner, resource person, and a legal expert who has published umpteen scholarly works/articles in the public domain. He comes in with a vision, a meaningful purpose, and a wide array of ideas to carry forward a rich legacy. He is expected to be the agent of change responsible to upgrade the quality of education, the learning outcomes and all other transformations to enhance the scholastic as well as co-scholastic pedagogy at MAMS.
