Dehradun, 2 Jan: Sardar Prabhjot Singh (Jyoti), owner of Riverstone Cottages Resort, a highly popular resort in Doon, and a partner in The Perfection House, a leading garments outlet, died today. He was around 58 and died due to sudden cardiac arrest this afternoon, in his residence located at 3B, Laxmi Road Dalanwala. Prabhjot Singh is survived by his father Sardar Trilok Singh, his mother, his wife Inderjeet (Rosy), son Chitwanjot, daughter-in-law Sanam and daughter Ruhani. He was also related to actor Mukesh Tyagi of ‘Fashion’ movie fame.
It may be recalled that Singh is an alumnus of The Doon School, from where he passed out in 1984. Later he went to Delhi University for higher studies. His sudden demise has shocked the business community of Dehradun.
President of The Doon School Old Boys’ Association, Sameer Dhingra has also condoled the sudden passing away of Prabhjot. He described Singh as a lovable, large hearted person, who was liked by all those who knew him. Dhingra also added that the sudden death of Singh was unthinkable for him.
