Dehradun, 10 Nov: A free medical health camp was organised by Rotary Club Doon Shivalik Hills under the presidentship of Rotarian Prashant Ghildiyal at Sachidanand Foundation, Dunga, today.
Essential medical services were provided to the students and their parents, staff of Sachidanand Foundation and needy people residing in the surrounding villages. OPDs were conducted by doctors specialising in diverse fields. Rotarian Dr DC Dhyani, Rotarian Dr BK Oli, Rotarian Dr Kamal Nawani, Dr Sarita Chaurasia, Rotarian Dr Akhil Kukreja, Dr Shivam Arora and Dr Rohit Aggarwal participated in the camp.
Medical Chair Rotarian Dr Jagriti Nawani, AG Rotarian Puneet Tandon and Secretary Rovin Jain under the chairmanship of Dr DC Dhyani looked into all the minute details to make the camp successful.
The camp catered to over 100 patients, free medicines were distributed and provisions were made for the Pathology lab where basic blood test, liver, kidney, thyroid and other tests were performed.
Seeing resounding success, with numerous participants expressing their gratitude for the free medical services RCDSH has taken a pledge to hold more such camps in the near future. Rotarians Kavita, Namita Mamgain, Ajay Karanwal, Tapan, Anil Dhasmana, Ankit Aggarwal, Rasik Bhatia and Devesh were also present at the medical camp and helped in its success.
